Waking Up Playlist #6
Good Afternoon Jellies,I hope you’re staying healthy, eating well, and sleeping well. This weeks theme: 520 (Wo Ai Ni)May 20th is unofficial Valentines day or sometimes called digital Valentines day in China. 520 which is said ‘wu er ling’, is said to sound like ‘wo ai ni’ which means I love you. When I looked it up, I saw a lot of posts talking about how this picked up back when pagers were really heavily in use, couples would send 520 to each other as a little I love you message through out the day. While some may argue whether or not these sound close to each other or not, it’s hard to deny how wide spread it’s become. I saw a lot of posts on Instagram celebrating from many countries. It was fun to have an excuse to dig through my love songs and even pull up a few throwbacks, the last song being an OST from my early drama watching years. Youtube and Spotify 1.
